On the wall
Diablesse was transported to earth from hell when the drift happened. She found herself deep underground in the catacombs of Paris which some say is an entrance to hell. Here's the theory, by hollowing out the earth beneath the ley lines that Paris is built on and filling the void with millions of human remains, the architects created a massive "dark battery." A "dark battery" is a term used to describe a physical location or object that has absorbed, trapped, and stored a massive amount of negative spiritual energy. Creating an entrance to hell. Turns out it's not a theory after all.
My character Mortimer. I'm still working in his origin story and ultimately where that's going to lead him. I'm leaning more towards making him do his own thing instead of working with a team but I'm still undecided.
